On the radio Tuesday, January 17th at 8:00 AM Eastern Time on the Helen Glover Show

Hi Gang:

On Tuesday, January 17th I will, as I usually do on Tuesday mornings, from 8:00 AM until, 8:30 AM Eastern Standard Time, be a guest on the excellent Helen Glover Show which is broadcast on Providence, Rhode Island’s Radio Station, WHJJ.

You can listen to Helen’s show online at:

Today will be a bit different because I will doing it from my hotel at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  I have been in Myrtle Beach for the past several days in conjunction with an amazing opportunity I was given to address the South Carolina Tea Party Convention, yesterday, Monday, immediately after Presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich addressed the audience.  It was an unforgettable moment and I was pleased an honored to be provided with the opportunity to spend 20 minutes discussing the impact of illegal immigration on a variety of issues, especially national security.

As you might expect, my conversation with Helen will focus on the convention and on the issue of how, under the auspices of the State Department’s Exchange Visitor program, many thousands of young foreign workers will be admitted into the United States under the J-1 Visa Program to take jobs that I can assure you, American college students and others would love to do!

This Department of State Exchange Visitor program was, in fact, a topic of conversation when I appeared on Neil Cavuto’s program a couple of weeks ago.

It is important for our government to maintain good relations with the citizens of countries around the world, but in this era of staggering unemployment and the fact that our nation’s Middle Class is getting hammered to the precipice of extinction- it is time that the needs and wellbeing of the citizens of our country be the priority of our government!
I hope you will listening to Helen’s terrific show!

The practice of good citizenship does not end in the voting booth, it only begins there.
The collective failure of We the People to get involved in make our concerns known to our politicians have nearly made the concerns of the great majority of the citizens of this nation all but irrelevant to the politicians.  I implore you to get involved!
I believe our nation’s is greatly benefited by the rich diversity of our people which is why I could never imagine living anywhere except New York City, arguably the most diverse city in our nation if not, in fact, the world.  However, my idea of diversity most certainly does not include members of MS-13, the Mexican drug cartels or members of other transnational gangs or members of al-Qaeda!

I also believe that the original purpose of our nation’s immigration laws need to be be brought “front and center” to make certain that our nation does not permit the entry of aliens into our country whose presence in our country is problematic for the citizens of our nation and that if such aliens do succeed in entering our country that our nation have the resources, integrity and dedication to do everything possible to make it impossible for such aliens to function within our country so that even if they are not apprehended, they will find it pointless to remain in the United States.

As I have noted on a number of occasions, “No one would break into the amusement park if they could not get to go on the rides and no one remains in the amusement park at the end of the day when they turn shut down the rides and turn off the lights!”

If our government’s failures to secure our nation’s borders and effectively enforce our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
