"Prosecutorial Discretion Would Enable Terrorist to Remain in the U.S."

Hi Gang:

Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and then ask those to whom you send this to forward it on to as many folks as they can.  I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth” and need your help!
America’s immigration laws were enacted to achieve two primary goals- protect innocent lives and the jobs of American workers.  While just about every politician promises to create jobs, the reality is that our nation will never create enough good jobs to get America back on track when our nation admits many more foreign workers who are lawfully entitled to work in the United States, than the number of new jobs that are created.
Furthermore, as the candidates for the 2016 Presidential election make their statements, it is clear that thus far, not one candidate has called for cutting the foreign workforce in America- but expanding it!  This is nuts and causes more Americans to lose their jobs and wages to continue to decline, while remittances- the money wired home by foreign workers will continue to increase further adding to our national debt.
This also causes our schools and hospitals to become ever more over-crowded creating more burdens on our already failing infrastructure in many cities across the United States.
Today, however, the focus of my commentary is national security and the supposed “War on Terror.”  My article singled out a particularly significant and frustrating case involving how, for reasons unknown, the prosecutors in this case failed to make use of an extremely effective law at their disposal.  The law deals with aliens who acquire United States citizenship by lying about material facts in their applications.  This law, as you will see, can be brought to bear in this case.  The benefit is two-fold.  First, it adds an additional charge to the indictment.  Second- and far more significantly, if the defendant in this case was successfully prosecuted for lying- thereby committing fraud, he would lose his United States citizenship- opening the door to his being deported from the United States after he serves whatever jail time is imposed upon him for his crimes.
No sensible person would fail to lock his/her door at night, especially if it was known that burglars and home invaders were operating in the neighborhood.  It would not be xenophobic or anti-social to be careful about letting people into our homes- this is why virtually every front door comes equipped with a peephole and a door bell or similar devices.  In point of fact, being careful about admitting strangers into our homes is concerned commonsense and prudent.  Similarly, the enforcement of our immigration laws, which make absolutely no distinction about race, religion or ethnicity but are intended to prevent the entry and continued presence of aliens engaged in criminal or terrorist-related activities is not only reasonable but essential for America’s security and the safety and well-being of Americans.
My most recent commentary was posted on the Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) website on April 24, 2015.

Prosecutorial Discretion Would Enable Terrorist to Remain in the U.S.

On April 16, 2015, a Federal Grand Jury in the Southern District of Ohio (Eastern Division) handed up a criminal indictment charging a naturalized United States citizen, Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud a/k/a “Ayanle,” a native of Somalia, with three federal crimes: 18 U.S.C. 2339A – Providing Material Support to Terrorists (Count 1) 18 U.S.C. 2339B – Providing Material Support to a…

Our borders and our immigration laws constitute America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorist organizations and transnational gangs and criminal organizations.  For decades politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties have thrown their oaths of office, commonsense and morality to the wind for campaign contributions.  Under any other circumstances such outrageous malfeasance would be considered an major example of corruption and bribery.  For politicians, however, this has come to pass for “business as usual.”

Rather than seeing in our borders and immigration laws an important weapon in the war on terror, all too many politicians and this administration in particular, see political gains to be had along with opportunities to curry favor with those who have deep pockets and over-flowing checkbooks.  They have turned that important weapon on America and Americans, flooding our nation with aliens from nearly every country on the planet to provide more tourists, more foreign students and more cheap labor.
When prosecutors Ignore clear violations of our immigration laws, especially where terrorists are concerned, is incomprehensible, even for this administration.  It is not too late for the federal prosecutors to seek a superseding indictment in this case- charging the defendant with committing fraud in his application for United States citizenship and likely in his application for his passport.
The one action we can take, is to reach out to our elected representatives and demand that they review not only this case and the need for a superseding indictment, but to consider how the lack of integrity to the immigration system continues to further the savage objectives of terrorists who have targeted America and Americans.  Immigration fraud is a huge issue- one identified by the 9/11 Commission as a tool used with great effectiveness by terrorists operating inside the United States in a number of cases- not just the attacks of September 11, 2001.
This terror suspect must be stripped of his citizenship and removed from our nation- presuming he is found guilty as charged.
If ever their was a time for Americans to get off their sofas and get involved, this is the time and this particular case is an important issue that needs to be addressed.  Politicians love to take to the floor of the House and the Senate to thump the podium and their chests demanding action be taken.  It is time to call them on it!  Every member of the House and Senate should be demanding that our immigration laws be used for us and not against us, We the People!
Here are some additional articles you should review:
On March 9, 2015, The Daily Caller published my commentary on the abject lack of integrity to the process by which applications for a wide variety of immigration benefits undermines national security and public safety.  You may be surprised to learn just how dysfunctional this system is and how it poses a serious threat to our nation and our fellow Americans.

On February 24, 2015 Progressives For Immigration Reform posted my commentary about a naturalized United States citizen who was born in Somalia, has recently been placed on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorists List.”  The title of my piece is:

Any discussion about any component of the immigration issue must begin by considering the findings and recommendations and, indeed, warnings of the 9/11 Commission.  On March 11, 2015 FrontPage Magazine published my article,

Ignoring the 9/11 Commission’s Warnings » Even as terrorists expand operations in Europe.

This article was preceded by my December 19, 2014 article for Californians for Population Stabilization:

I addressed the many components of the dysfunctional immigration system that go well beyond the obvious failure of the administration to secure the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico in my article for the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s FrontPage Magazine:

I have come to compare the issue of securing the US/Mexican border with a wing on an airplane.  Without the wing, the airplane will not, of course, fly.  However, a wing by itself goes absolutely nowhere!  We have 50 border states and the key issue is to address the abject lack of integrity to entire immigration system.
This article was published by FrontPage Magazine on January 23, 2015:

Sleeper Cells: The Immigration Component of the Threat

The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized.  In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.  They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

The starting point for any conversation or legislation concerning immigration must be the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission which determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.

In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:

We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”

Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!  Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.

It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within.  The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!

If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
