On the radio today, Monday, Nov. 10th for a "triple-header" beginning at 8:30 AM, Eastern Time

Hi Gang:
Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and then ask that those to whom you send this pass it along to their contacts- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth” and would love your help!
Today, Monday, November 10th, I will be a guest on three terrific radio programs.  My focus on each of the programs is the ongoing immigration crisis and the statements of President Obama that with or without Congressional cooperation, he is determined to provide unknown millions of illegal aliens with lawful status.  For lack of a better term, it could be said that Obama is attempting to resort to extortion to get his way.
Meanwhile, very few Republicans or members of the news media, for that matter, are willing to confront the true impact of illegal immigration and what the impact the continuing failures of the immigration system are having on national security, public safety (including public health), the U.S. economy, unemployment, wages for American workers and a host of other critical issues.
While politicians from both parties are gaining huge campaign contributions and seek political advantages by betraying America and Americans by not seeking to truly enforce our immigration laws and secure our nation’s borders- remember, we are a nation of 50 border states, Americans irrespective of political affiliation should be united in demanding that our nation do whatever is necessary to prevent the entry of illegal aliens and make certain that there is true integrity to the process by which visas are issued to aliens and the process by which applications for lawful status, citizenship and other immigration benefits are adjudicated.  These issues were identified by the 9/11 Commission as being critical to preventing terrorist attacks.
While Republicans are celebrating that they now control both the House of Representatives and the United States Senate and that a clear majority of Republicans won gubernatorial races around the United States, they need to temper their since of victory with an understanding that many of their victories were not the result of a majority of Americans embracing their ideology and supposed achievements, but because many Americans rejected Obama and the Democratic candidates who stood with Obama.
Republicans must come to understand what was actually behind their victories and that their victories may be short-lived, 2016 is just two years away!
Immigration is an issue all Americans should agree on.  It is not “anti-immigrant” to want our immigration laws to be effectively enforced.  Our nation’s immigration laws are utterly blind as to race, religion and ethnicity.  Those laws not only establish the ground by which aliens should be excluded from the United States or the circumstances under which aliens should be removed (deported) but also enable more than one million lawful immigrants to be admitted into the United States each year.  Those laws also enable hundreds of thousand of lawful immigrants to be granted United States citizenship via the naturalization process.  It is more than absurd to claim that it is “anti-immigrant” to support the effective and fair enforcement of those laws!
Here is the rundown of my scheduled appearances:
  • First, at 8:30 AM, Eastern Standard Time, I will be joining my friend, Charles Butler on his show, “The Charles Butler Show this is broadcast from Chicago, Illinois on Radio Station WGCN.  Here is the link to his show:

Here are the issues I plan to discuss today:

I hope you will be listening to all three of these terrific shows!

This past week I wrote an article about this critically important issue for a politically “Liberal” organization:

“Obama Promises (Threatens?) to Take Executive Action on Immigration”

November 6, 2014 | Michael Cutler

On October 8, 2014 that same organization (Progressive For Immigration Reform) published my policy brief:
The Liberal Case for Effective Immigration Law Enforcement

Just one week ago, I wrote an article for a politically “Conservative” website for which I am a columnist, that delved into how politicians from both sides of the political aisle are betraying their oaths of office, the United States Constitution and the citizens they were elected to represent:

On October 22, 2014 CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) an organization with which I have been affiliated for a number of years, posted my latest commentary for their website:
The point is that the immigration crisis is attributable to the failures of the United States and, in particular the current administration, to secure its borders and effectively enforce the immigration laws are undermining national security, public safety and public health and the overall safety and well-being of America and Americans.  Immigration is not about “Left” or “Right” but about right or wrong!
On July 2, 2013 the Washington Times published my Op-Ed:

Who will find the answers while there’s still time to prevent a disaster?

On June 13, 2013 I was interviewed by Neil Cavuto on the topic:

The interview runs about 4 minutes and is worth watching.

The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized.  In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense. They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform,
In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:

We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”

Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.

The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation.  That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!  Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.  In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within.  The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
