This evening, August 3rd at 7:00 PM Eastern Daylight Saving Time, I will be hosting my radio show, “The Michael Cutler Hour.”
Ever since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 I have done everything I could to provide the perspectives I acquired through by 30 year career with the former INS- providing clear and unequivocal information that shows the nexus between failures to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws from within the interior of the United States and the attacks of 9/11 and other national security and criminal justice issues.
To this end, I have testified before a succession of Congressional hearings, I provided testimony to the 9/11 Commission, I have appeared on radio and television programs to discuss and debate the immigration issue as I have in venues across our country. I created a radio program and an internet website to provide guests who truly have important information to share.
This evening I will be joined by Mark Hager, a history professor at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. I have known Mark for a number of years and on a number of occasions I have been a guest on the radio show he co-hosts in North Carolina. Several months ago when traveled to North Carolina to participate in an event aimed at increasing awareness about immigration in which I was joined by a number of local law enforcement officers, Mark and his family were kind enough to have me stay at their beautiful home where, through their hospitality, they truly made me feel as though I had become an “adopted” member of their family!
Mark has just returned from the US/Mexican border where he was filming a documentary on the true situation to be found our border. He next plans to travel to New York City where I will show him how the immigration crisis impacts the “Big Apple.”
Tonight, we will be discussing what he discovered on his journey to Arizona- I hope you will be joining us!
It has been said that “Ignorance is bliss!” I doubt anyone listening to my show tonight will be blissful after they hear what my guest has to say!

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
