Commentary for TalkBorder.com concerning my most recent appearance on &quot;Your World With Neil Cavuto&quot; to discuss Senate immigration amnesty proposals

Hi Gang:

On Monday, February 4th I was a guest on Neil Cavuto’s program on Fox News, “Your World With Neil Cavuto.”

As I noted in an earlier e-mail that contained a link to my interview on the show, Eric Bolling filled in for Neil on the program and we discussed the U.S. Senate’s proposed legislation that would

link “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” to certification by Janet Napolitano, as Secretary of DHS (Department of Homeland Surrender), that the border is secure!

As you likely know, I have a website, TalkBorder.com which contains videos of interviews and commentaries I provided about various aspects of the immigration crisis that has such profound impact on virtually every challenge America and Americans face in this perilous era.

One of the frustrating aspects of appearing on television to discuss the immigration issue is the brief nature of these interviews. It is all but impossible to cover anything but the most salient issues. Most of the time when I walk off the set at the television studios at the completion of my all too brief segment, I am left with the sense that there were so many things I wish there was time to have spoken about on the air.

When I wrapped up my appearance on Neil Cavuto’s show I had the idea of writing a commentary for my TalkBorder.com website and addressing at least some of those things that I would have loved to have discussed if there had been more time.

The wonderful thing about TalkBorder.com is that I have the editorial control over what appears there and so I acted on my idea.

While not all-encompassing, I was able to address a number of important issues that, because of time constraints, I could not discuss on the air.

I would also ask that if you like this that you forward this commentary to as many folks as you can and ask them to do the same- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth!”

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!

If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
