Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and then ask that those to whom you send this, to forward it along to everyone they can- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth!”
My commentary for FrontPage Magazine today focuses on the way that celebrity talk show hosts are often quick to opine about issues that they have no real expertise or knowledge, creating dangerous wrong-headed impressions for audiences who are quick to gobble up these pronouncements, presuming that since they were seen (and heard) on television, that they must be correct.
Conservative talk show hosts who may express utter contempt for moral relativism are themselves, frequently willing to come up with legal relativistic judgement calls- often employing oxymorons. While George Carlin’s infamous “jumbo shrimp” was one of his favorite oxymorons, my favorite oxymoron is “heroic play.” (How on earth can someone be a hero while playing?)
Speaking from his throne in his television studio, Bill O’Reilly recently invoked an oxymoron that has been used by others, “law-abiding illegal aliens.”
I tackle this dangerous concept in my latest article for FrontPage Magazine and other ways the talking heads of TV land provide seemingly “reasonable” positions on the immigration crisis that, if followed, could be catastrophic to national security and the well being of America and Americans. It is time to get real!
Millions of Americans tune into these programs every day and those who are appear on those programs need to be mindful of how much influence they wield. They need to take their positions of trust seriously and responsibly. The next time they have the urge to provide their opinions based not on experience but hunches, they need to bring true experts onto their programs to provide that “reality check” because of the seriousness of these issues.
I urge you to get involved and demand our elected representatives actually represent us- We the People! The information contained in my article is being provided to educate as many of our fellow Americans as possible so that they can ask the right questions and make the appropriate demands on our political leaders and representatives. The article for which I am providing the link below should motivate everyone who reads it to call his/her senators and representatives to demand answers to know what congress is going to do to protect America and Americans.
Here is an additional suggestion- when you attend town hall meetings with political candidates- especially those running for President, when they declare that they want to “help America lead” by bringing in thousands or more likely, hundreds of thousands of highly skilled foreign workers, instead of applauding, stand up and say just two words: “CITIZENS FIRST!”
Please pass this suggestion to as many folks as you can!
America, first and foremost, is comprised of its citizens not rivers parks and cities. We have never had more American citizens, especially minority citizens, living below the poverty level. We now expect that American kids will not do as well as their parents. This is not how we will get America to lead. Politicians who promise to import more competing foreign workers are like Colonel Sanders standing in a barnyard and bragging to the chickens that he has a new recipe for fried chicken!
On July 21, 2015 the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s FrontPage Magazine published my most recent article:
Illegal Aliens Are Not ‘Law Abiding’
The vital importance of America’s immigration and inspection laws.
July 28, 2015 Michael Cutler
One of the points of contention where political “liberals” and political “conservatives” are concerned is how much government is appropriate, with conservatives demanding less government and liberals generally believing in more government, an issue that should be agreed upon by all reasonable Americans is the need for our government to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. This should not be a divisive issue- our immigration laws are completely and utterly blind as to race, religion and ethnicity and were enacted for the two primary purposes of protecting innocent lives and protecting the jobs of American workers.
If ever there was a “No brainer” issue- you would have to believe it would be the enforcement of our immigration laws.
All reasonable Americans want to live in safety where the American dream provides opportunities for anyone who is willing to acquire an education, work hard and benefit from a bit of luck. They want the same for their children and their children’s children. How on earth could there be any controversy about the need to prevent criminals or terrorists from entering the United States? How on earth could anyone think that it is good for Americans to have to compete with foreign workers from Third World countries for their jobs- forcing wages, thereby creating wage suppression?
As ever more foreign workers enter the United States, the amount of money that they send home increases. The United States loses more money to the remittances of foreign workers than any other country on this planet. A minimum of $125 billion is wired out of the United States annually and the actual amount may approach $200 billion. When the multiplier effect is taken into account, this loss of money each year, by itself, more than accounts for the annual increase in the U.S. national debt. Today the United States admits more foreign workers legally authorized to work in the United States than the number of new jobs that are created.
The problem with secure borders and the fair and effective enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws is that too many unscrupulous extremely wealthy individuals and far too many special interest groups and industries see huge opportunities for wealth and power in exploiting immigration- both legal and illegal immigration.
They all know that they could not convince the majority of Americans to go along with opening up our borders and flooding the United States with virtually unlimited numbers of foreign workers, foreign tourists and foreign tourists if the debates focused on the facts, our laws, commonsense and morality. These all created a series of hurtles that they needed to eliminate. Going back to Jimmy Carter when the Orwellian term “Undocumented Workers” was mandated as a replacement for the law and fact based term “Illegal Alien” to describe aliens who were illegally present in the United States. In fact, these immigration anarchists, as I have come to refer to them, also sought to expunge the term “Alien” from the vernacular. They complained that the term “alien” is the equivalent of the “N-word.” Over time, more an more people began to believe that the term alien was a term of bigotry, without understanding what the term alien even means.
For clarity, the Immigration and Nationality Act defines the term alien as simply being, “Any person, not a citizen or national of the United States.”
How in the world is the term or the definition insulting or humiliating? Anyone who is not a citizen is an alien. It is that simple.
The immigration anarchists substituted the term “Immigrant” for the term “Alien” so that anyone who insisted on the enforcement of our laws could then be portrayed as being “Anti-Immigrant.” Since our nation was built by immigrants, anyone who would oppose the admission of immigrants could be vilified and accused of being xenophobic or racist.
Why then are these accusations being made about the innocuous term alien? That term provides clarity. Con artists all understand that to swindle their victims they need to obfuscate the truth.
Over time more and more lies were told and repeated as often as possible. We have all heard the lies about the work Americans won’t do and the jobs Americans lack the education and the skills to do. Basically, are constantly told that Americans are lazy, ignorant and incompetent.
Imagine if instead of describing Americans this way you made such broad statements about any ethnic group- you would face lawsuits and perhaps prosecution for being racist. Yet politicians from both political parties frequently spout this hate speech against Americans and win elections by doing it! This is astonishing!
On June 18, 2015 FrontPage Magazine published my article, “Theft By Deception: The Immigration Con Game » How politicians are robbing citizens of access to the American Dream.”
Even as we admit record numbers of immigrants, our “leaders” have declared that we should provide unknown millions of illegal aliens with lawful status. This stops just short of simply declaring that any person born on the planet earth should be made a United States citizen. Meanwhile, the lawful immigration system is so dysfunctional that a number of terrorists have been granted United States citizenship which entitles them to move freely around the United States and obtain a United States passport. This not only creates huge national security risks for America and Americans but for countries around the world.
Remarkably politicians have declared that once our southern border is made secure it would be appropriate to then proceed with a massive amnesty program. I addressed this folly in my February 5, 2015 FrontPage Magazine article: “The ‘Secure Our Border First Act’ Deception »
Why it’s no solution to the immigration crisis.”
Before anyone gets the wrong idea- the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico must be made secure. The point is that there are many other components of the immigration system that must also be effectively dealt with. I have come to compare securing the US/Mexican border with the wing on an airplane. An airplane without a wing will not fly, but a wing by itself goes nowhere!
On December 19, 2014 Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) posted my extensive article:
Meanwhile, the lack of integrity to the immigration system not only undermines national security and public safety but is leading to the dismantling of America’s middle class and with it, the American Dream.

On November 15th I was honored to join three true leaders in the United States Congress in a panel discussion on immigration- Senator Jeff Sessions and Congressmen Louis Gohmert and John Fleming. A video of this panel discussion has been posted on the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s website under the title,
The perspectives of these true leaders are well worth listening to.
This is the link to that video:
FrontPage Magazine posted the video and a transcript of this panel discussion.
To provide you with a bit of additional material, during my remarks at the panel discussion, I referenced an Op-Ed I had written for the Washington Times in which I articulated my concerns about the previous attempt to enact Comprehensive Immigration Reform that the Washington Times published on June 22, 2007. Senator Jeff Sessions quoted from my commentary, on three separate dates, from the floor of the U.S. during the contentious floor debates. In my piece I recommended that Comprehensive Immigration Reform be given a more honest and descriptive title, I suggested that it be renamed the “Terrorist Assistance and Facilitation Act!”
I recommend you review Senator Session’s statement on June 27, 2007 from the floor of the U.S. Senate on the Immigration Bill in which the Senator made reference to my suggested new name to that disastrous legislation in my Washington Times Op-Ed. His impassioned pleas to his colleagues averted a catastrophe and that legislation was defeated. However, not unlike Freddy Krueger, Comprehensive Immigration Reform has been brought back to life through the unilateral actions of President Obama and his proposed executive actions. Furthermore, there are politicians from both parties willing to give this legislative betrayal of America and Americans CPR!

On December 19, 2014 Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) posted my commentary:
Today our nation and our citizens face a list of challenges and threats- nearly every one of which is being exacerbated by long-standing failures of our nation to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws. To be clear, it is not “Anti-Immigrant” to want these two issues to be dealt with effectively. In point of fact, the same immigration laws that mandate the categories of aliens to be kept our of our country and the terms under which aliens should be removed from our country have absolutely nothing to do with race, religion or ethnicity, also provide for the lawful admission of roughly one million lawful immigrants and the naturalization of hundreds of thousands of new citizens each year.
It is therefore a contradiction in terms and thinking to claim that it is “Anti-Immigrant” to support the effective enforcement and administration of our immigration laws
Let us be clear in our thinking- it is “Pro-Immigrant” to be “Pro-Enforcement!”
When the issue of immigration comes up most people purely focus on the lack of integrity to the border that is supposed to separate the United States from America. Clearly that border lacks integrity and represents little more than a speed bump to smugglers who transport illegal aliens and contraband including record quantities of dangerous drugs such as heroin and cocaine into the United States.
However, there are many more components to the immigration system including systems by which aliens are granted visas to enter the United States and various immigration benefits such as conferring employment authorization to aliens in the United States and also include the adjudications process by which aliens are granted lawful immigrant status and even United States citizenship.
All of these systems of the immigration system lack integrity. Aliens who have gone on to commit crimes and even participate in terrorist attacks have often been dissevered to have successfully gamed the immigration benefits program in order to embed themselves in communities around the United States as they went about their deadly preparations.

On July 2, 2013 the Washington Times published my Op-Ed:
Who will find the answers while there’s still time to prevent a disaster?
On June 13, 2013 I was interviewed by Neil Cavuto at Fox News on the topic:
The interview ran about 4 minutes and is worth watching.
On April 4, 2014, CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary that asks the questions all Americans need to ask their political “representatives.” My commentary is aptly titled: “How? Why?”
In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:
“We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”
Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.
The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation. That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.
Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers. In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”
Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
American Lives Matter!
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
Lead, follow or get out of the way!
