"Michael Cutler: Obama, Dems Holding US Security Hostage to Amnesty" – my interview on Newsmax-TV

Hi Gang:

Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and ask that those to whom you send this do the same- I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth!”
Earlier today, Tuesday, February 24th, I was a guest on JD Hayworth’s excellent news program, America’s Forum that airs on Newsmax-TV.  The primary focus of my interview was my FrontPage Magazine article:

Jeh Johnson’s Amnesty Lies »

The war from within against our national security safeguards.
by   February 24 2015
Newsmax posted a report that focused on my interview on JD’s television program today.  I have attached the Newsmax article, in its entirety, to the bottom of this e-mail.  If you go to the Newsmax website by clicking on the link, you will be able to watch the video of my interview.
What is especially disconcerting is that the administration and members of Congress are playing a game of “Chicken” or perhaps “Brinksmanship” by making national security a bargaining chip.  This would be extremely disturbing at any time in our nation’s history- however given the threats America faces from terrorist organizations and transnational criminal organizations makes this lunacy all the more infuriating!
The one question that Secretary Johnson was not asked in his appearances before the television cameras this past Sunday was how the administration’s amnesty program would square with the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.  Indeed, that document is never discussed even though the United States faces a growing threat of a terror attack being carried out on American soil.
It is unfathomable that no one is willing to discuss the nexus between the failings of the immigration system and the terror attacks as noted in the 9/11 Commission Report and in the 9/11 Commission Staff Report on Terrorist Travel.  This is a level of negligence that were a private company to engage in such reckless malfeasance would likely result in massive lawsuits and criminal prosecutions!
I have written about this nexus between failures of the immigration system and the way it undermines national security in many of my articles, public appearances and Congressional testimony.  This was a major focus of my article for FrontPage Magazine today, as well.
I have attached links to some of my recent articles about that nexus below.
On a personal note.  I am a lifelong registered Democrat.  I have always voted as an independent- picking and choosing individual candidates.  It has never been more true to say that neither political party gives a damn about the average American than today.  I was recently asked by a radio talk show host how I viewed the two political parties.  I did not mince words.  I said that they reminded me of the Colombian Medellin and Cali Drug Cartels that occupied quite a bit of my attention when, as an INS agent, I was assigned to the DEA.  Both are criminal organizations vying for control of turf and the spoils of their victories.
I also must point out that I have testified before well over one dozen Congressional hearings.  Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee a Democratic Congresswoman from Texas invited me to testify before two hearings conducted during the administration of President George W. Bush, while I was called by the Republicans for the other hearings.  What is note-worthy was that, for the most part, the Republicans also called upon me to testify when during the Bush administration.  The Republican Congressional leadership knew full well that at a number of those hearings my position would put me in direct opposition with the Bush administration’s policies yet invited me to provide my perspectives and to share my concerns about policies I believed would have an adverse impact on national security.
These issues are not about “right” or “left” but about right or wrong!
Here are links to some of my recent articles that delve into just how wrong-headed and down-right dangerous a massive amnesty program is for America and Americans.

The ‘Secure Our Border First Act’ Deception »

Why it’s no solution to the immigration crisis.

Our immigration system is composed of many moving parts and all must be effectively dealt with.  If “a chain is as strong as its weakest link,” the immigration system must be thought of as a chain with extremely weak and even missing links.

The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized.  In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense. They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform,

On July 2, 2013 the Washington Times published my Op-Ed:

Who will find the answers while there’s still time to prevent a disaster?

On June 13, 2013 I was interviewed by Neil Cavuto at Fox News on the topic:

The interview ran about 4 minutes and is worth watching.

On April 4, 2014, CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary that asks the questions all Americans need to ask their political “representatives.”  My commentary is aptly titled:  “How? Why?

In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:

We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”

Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.

The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation.  That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!  Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.  In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within.  The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!

President Barack Obama and Democrats are holding the nation’s security hostage by refusing to heed the will of the electorate and defund executive amnesty, former Immigration and Naturalization Service officer Michael Cutler said Tuesday on “America’s Forum” on Newsmax TV.

“The Republicans are afraid of being labeled as the people that defund their homeland security,” Cutler said. “To me, as an outsider, it just seems this is extortion by the administration.

“I’ve come to call this administration a thugocracy. How in the world do you hold America’s homeland security hostage to a political process?”

It’s disingenuous for Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson to talk about getting illegal immigrants out of the shadows, according to Cutler, when there are no resources dedicated to finding those that don’t come forward voluntarily.

“Fugitives don’t willingly step out into the sunshine,” he said. “We have hundreds of thousands, if not more, aliens who know they’re wanted for crimes. They’re not going to step out no matter what this amnesty program looks like. Yet, all we’re going to do is provide false identities, potentially official false identities, to people who know they have clean fingerprints.

“On both sides of that equation, we’re opening the door to terrorists for an embedding tactic that could really come back and hurt us badly. That’s my concern.”

While politicians are hyper-focused on people entering through the southern border, there are threats posed at international airports nationwide.

“I want everyone to understand that we do have 50 border states, we’re inundated, we only have a couple of hundred immigration judges for the whole country, and they have front-loaded those unaccompanied minors, bumping the older cases to the back of the line, creating sheer chaos in the immigration court as well,” said Cutler. “This system is overflowing right now.”

Another unaddressed problem are Middle East refugees granted political asylum in the U.S., something the 9/11 Commission warned the government about.

“You had Ramsey Yousef, who participated in the first Trade Center bombing, granted political asylum,” he said. “Kansi, who shot up the CIA a month earlier, applied for political asylum. We have the Tsarnaev brothers.

“Political asylum is a problem. It’s hard to do investigations in those countries where these folks come from because of the chaos and the antipathy … those governments feel for the United States, so we’re letting in people without properly vetting them and that is a huge concern, especially in this dangerous era.”

Interior enforcement is an oxymoron under the Obama administration, according to Cutler, and it’s an important piece of the equation.

“No matter how many times an alien attempts, if they’re tenacious enough, they will succeed,” Cutler said. “People will overstay visas and violate the terms of their entry. We have never put the emphasis where it needs to be, and that’s on interior enforcement of the immigration laws.

“The 9/11 Commission made it clear that it was that failing, more than any other, that allowed” terrorists to “embed themselves in our country, this lack of interior enforcement. Of course with this administration, there is no interior enforcement now.”
