As I do on every Friday, I will be hosting my show, “The Michael Cutler Hour” today from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

The new year has begun and there is much to talk about! The Obama administration continues to quietly take steps to end the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws.

During a recent appearance on Neil Cavuto’s program on the Fox Business Network, Neil and I talked about immigration and jobs and I made the point that while every politician talks about the need to create jobs, no one is talking about the need to liberate jobs! Neil asked me how to liberate jobs and my answer was succinct and to the point- I told him that you liberate jobs by enforcing our nation’s immigration laws!

While the Obama administration claims that he is prioritizing the enforcement of our immigration laws he is clearly ignoring the fundamental fact that an important purpose behind our immigration laws is to make certain that aliens do not get jobs that are needed by American citizens and lawful immigrants. In fact, prior to the Second World War, the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws was the responsibility of the Labor Department. The point was to help build America’s Middle Class! It was the Middle Class that built this country and now we are witnessing the demise of the Middle Class!
