There is no shortage of madness to be found in our nation these days, especially where the immigration issue is concerned! We certainly are bordering on Bedlam!
Today I will be joined by Ed Hayes for an important discussion about how failures of our government to secure its borders and enforce its immigration laws enable criminal aliens to enter our country and remain in the United States. As a result, innocent people lost their lives to these illegal aliens. Job one for any government is to provide for the safety and security of its citizens. Clearly our government has been failing at this most important mission for many years.

To provide you with a bit of background about today’s guest:
Ed Hayes is a third generation Law Enforcement Officer with a degree in the Administration of Justice. He retired from the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff’s Department at the rank of Captain after 29 years on the job. During his career in law enforcement he worked in every division of the Sheriff’s Office including a special assignment with the Justice Department as a Federal Agent with DEA for nearly 3 years assigned to the Western District of Missouri. He worked undercover investigations for seven years. Since retirement he has done volunteer work in several areas including being a member of the Chaffee County Colorado Search and Rescue team as a rescuer and pilot. He was appointed to the Chaffee County Colorado Jail Committee during the planning process of a new jail in Salida, Colorado. Hayes is a life Member of the NRA and a member of Oath Keepers. He is a member of the National Association for Search and Rescue an SAL Member of the American Legion and a past member of the Kansas Peace Officers Association and the Kansas Sheriff’s Association.
An avid outdoorsman Hayes is a commercial Pilot, retired sport parachutist, glider pilot, glider tow pilot, a downhill skier, certified open water scuba diver, bicycles for pleasure/exercise, loves motorcycles and ATV’s, a builder and in his lifetime has lived on a lake, an airport on the White River in Arkansas and built a house near Salida Colorado amongst the “fourteeners”. Hayes worked for Colorado/Chaffee County Search and Rescue for 3 years as a rescuer and pilot when necessary.
Hayes is married with three children, son and 2 daughters, two grandsons and three critters/canines.
Currently Hayes works full time as the FNCIC Administrator & Victims of Illegal Alien Crimes Memorial Director. He joined the cause eight plus years ago when he first joined the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps rising to Executive Director before his resignation to pursue other matters as well as FNCIC & VOIACM
