I will be a guest on two terrific radio programs today, Monday, October 21st.
The focus of my appearances on both shows, will be the President’s stated goal of pushing through “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” In a recent speech he said that immigration reform was something that everyone agrees with. In point of fact, I would love to know who he was referring to when he said “everyone!”
Comprehensive is comprehensive in that it will leave virtually no illegal aliens behind and will provide more opportunities to justify providing aliens, legal and illegal alike, with the authority to legally work in the United States. Not unlike just about every politician in America, Obama has repeated stated that he wants more jobs to be created in America. The issue, however, is who will be taking the jobs.
Given the current circumstances where immigration is concerned, most ads for jobs should include the tag line- “Americans need not apply!”
While Comprehensive Immigration Reform is almost always referred to as a massive amnesty program for millions of illegal aliens (likely tens of millions of illegal aliens) it will also provide nearly three times as many H1-B visas for high-tech workers and would, for the first time, permit the spouses and adult “children” of H1-B visa holders to also legally work in the United States and be given Employment Authorization Documents. These documents legally make the alien who is issued this document as entitled to a job in America as any American or lawful immigrant worker. This document would enable the alien who would be provided with this document, to sail through the E-Verify program.
While so many politicians have claimed that they favor making E-Verify mandatory (something that should be done) by not pushing against more H1-B visas for high-tech workers and many, many other components of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, most of the benefits of the E-Verify program would be rendered moot.
There is much more to Comprehensive Immigration Reform than is typically reported on- but today we will take a long hard look at what this legislative betrayal will mean for America and Americans!

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”
Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
