On August 4, 2017 I was interviewed by J.D. Hayworth on his television program on Newsmax-TV.
We covered a number of issues during our conversation including my thoughts about the RAISE Act (Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment Act) that has been introduced in the U.S. Senate.

As you will see in the video, I too am supportive of this bill that would make important changes in our nation’s immigration laws, cutting the number of permanent residence admitted annually from the current one million plus to about 500,000, ending chain migration and providing lawful immigrant status to members of the extended families of citizens to implement a “point system” that would provide green cards to aliens who possess needed skills and professions and are able to effectively communicate in the English Language.
J.D. is a former member of Congress and, in fact, I first met him in November 2001 when I testified before the House Immigration Reform Caucus about the failures of the immigration system that created vulnerabilities in national security that the 9/11 terrorist/hijackers exploited to enter the United States, embed themselves in cities across the United States and ultimately carry out the terror attacks on September 11, 2001.
