"Controversy over Birthright Citizenship"

Hi Gang:

Kindly forward this e-mail to as many folks as you can and then ask those to whom you send this to forward it on to as many folks as they can.  I am attempting to create a “Bucket Brigade of Truth” and need your help!
America’s immigration laws were enacted to achieve two primary goals- protect innocent lives and the jobs of American workers.  While just about every politician promises to create jobs, the reality is that our nation will never create enough good jobs to get America back on track when our nation admits many more foreign workers who are lawfully entitled to work in the United States, than the number of new jobs that are created.
Donald Trump has tapped into the frustration of many Americans who have come to the realization that for decades the leaders of both parties have not been acting in the best interests of our nation or the vast majority of our citizens.  Now most presidential candidates are playing the game of “catch-up” or attempting to ignore the truth about the self-imposed immigration crisis created by politicians from both parties who have been doing the bidding of their wealthy contributors.
Just as “you cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube” the immigration issue will not go away.  Today my commentary for the CAPS website is the issue of “Birthright Citizenship.”
Here is a suggestion- when you attend town hall meetings with political candidates- especially those running for President, when they declare that they want to “help America lead” by bringing in thousands or more likely, hundreds of thousands of highly skilled foreign workers, instead of applauding, stand up and say just two words:  “CITIZENS FIRST!”
Please be certain to pass this advice along to as many folks as you can!
My most recent commentary was posted on the Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) website on September 3, 2015.

Our borders and our immigration laws constitute America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorist organizations and transnational gangs and criminal organizations.  For decades politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties have thrown their oaths of office, commonsense and morality to the wind for campaign contributions.

Consequently, rather than seeing in our borders and immigration laws an important weapon in the war on terror, all too many politicians and this administration in particular, see political gains to be had along with opportunities to curry favor with those who have deep pockets and over-flowing checkbooks.  They have turned that important weapon on America and Americans, flooding our nation with aliens from nearly every country on the planet to provide more tourists, more foreign students and more cheap labor.
If ever their was a time for Americans to get off their sofas and get involved, this is the time and this particular case is an important issue that needs to be addressed.  Politicians love to take to the floor of the House and the Senate to thump the podium and their chests demanding action be taken.  It is time to call them on it!  Every member of the House and Senate should be demanding that our immigration laws be used for us and not against us, We the People!

Prosecutorial Discretion Would Enable Terrorist to Remain in the U.S.

On February 24, 2015 Progressives For Immigration Reform posted my commentary about a naturalized United States citizen who was born in Somalia, has recently been placed on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorists List.”  The title of my piece is:

Any discussion about any component of the immigration issue must begin by considering the findings and recommendations and, indeed, warnings of the 9/11 Commission.  On March 11, 2015 FrontPage Magazine published my article,

Ignoring the 9/11 Commission’s Warnings » Even as terrorists expand operations in Europe.

This article was preceded by my December 19, 2014 article for Californians for Population Stabilization:

I addressed the many components of the dysfunctional immigration system that go well beyond the obvious failure of the administration to secure the border that is supposed to separate the United States from Mexico in my article for the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s FrontPage Magazine:

I have come to compare the issue of securing the US/Mexican border with a wing on an airplane.  Without the wing, the airplane will not, of course, fly.  However, a wing by itself goes absolutely nowhere!  We have 50 border states and the key issue is to address the abject lack of integrity to entire immigration system.
This article was published by FrontPage Magazine on January 23, 2015:

Sleeper Cells: The Immigration Component of the Threat

The importance of our borders and our immigration laws cannot be overemphasized.  In the war on terror and transnational gangs, they are our first line of defense and our last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.  They are equally important to American workers who are facing unfair competition from foreign workers, aided and abetted by the administration and advocates for “Sanctuary Cities” and Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

The starting point for any conversation or legislation concerning immigration must be the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission which determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.

In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:

We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”

Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!  Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.

It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within.  The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!

If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
