Hi Gang:

Obama’s Actions on Immigration Lack Accountability »

An Inspector General’s warning about Obama’s amnesty insanity.

For decades, a succession of administrations have failed to provide the resources to effectively enforce our immigration laws.  This is likely because irrespective of political orientation, there is no shortage of wealthy and powerful individuals, special interest groups and industries that have gained huge wealth and power through the exploitation of the failures of the immigration system to effective enforce and administer our immigration laws.
What this administration and previous administrations and those who have coerced those administration through campaign contributions and other methods, have blithely ignored is the fundamental fact that our immigration laws and America’s borders are our first and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts virtually every challenge and threat that America and Americans face today.  The consequences of the failures of the immigration system include terror attacks and the infiltration of transnational gangs.  Schools and hospitals are being overcrowded, cities’ infrastructures being overwhelmed.  Finally, the massive influx of foreign workers has driven down wages of American workers not just economic bottom rung jobs but middle class high-tech jobs that require college educations.  In fact, increasingly, American workers are losing their jobs and are being displaced by foreign workers.  Indeed, the United States currently admits more foreign workers each month who are legally authorized to work in the United States, than the number of new jobs that are being created.
This last issue- wage suppression is a key motivator for many of those who oppose effective immigration law enforcement.
Schools are eager to enroll foreign students and today more than one million foreign students are attending more than 9,000 schools.  There is no way of knowing if many of those schools even exist in the real world- many  may well be scams that are authorized to file the paperwork for foreign students who find this method of gaining entry into the United States, through visa fraud, to be preferable to running our borders.  Additionally, many of our best universities are instructing citizens of countries that compete with us economically and even potentially, militarily.  So much for seeking policies of nuclear non-proliferation.   The problem is that there is no way of knowing what is really going on because the administration refuses to capture statistics and file appropriate reports.
While previous administrations have failed to enforce our immigration laws and played the “numbers game” to conceal the lack of effective immigration laws enforcement, the current administration has gone well beyond anything any previous administration has ever done to block effective immigration law enforcement and has turned on the smoke machine to block anyone, including Congress from being able to determine just how much damage the outrageous executive orders has done to America and Americans.
In the past we have heard about “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policies of previous administrations.  The Obama administration now has a policy of, “Ask all you want- we won’t tell you!”
This policy of nondisclosure by the Obama administration parallels the way that suspect invoke their Fifth Amendment right to refuse to answer questions that may cause them to incriminate themselves.
On December 19, 2014 Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) posted my commentary:  Obama’s ‘Gift’ to International Terrorists: Immigration Executive Action
On February 24, 2015 Progressives For Immigration Reform posted my commentary about a naturalized United States citizen who was born in Somalia, has recently been placed on the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorists List.”  The title of my piece is:  The Immigration Factor – Naturalized U.S. Citizen Added to FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists List.

When you read about the criminal aliens who have been released- you need to bear in mind that the actions by the administration are costing innocent lives and leaving America and Americans vulnerable to the threat of terrorism and to the influx of foreign gangs and their deadly cargo of narcotics.
My article focuses on the Inspector General’s testimony- if you suffer from high blood pressure, I urge you to take your pills before you read my commentary!
In the beginning anyone who accused the administration of nonfeasance and malfeasance where immigration enforcement was concerned- recent Congressional testimony by no less a credible authority than the Inspector General of DHS, makes the duplicity of the administration crystal clear and should be commended for his courage and integrity- qualities lacking in all too many of our elected “representatives!”
As you read my commentary I want you to think about the politicians who exhort potential voters to support their efforts to enable “ America to lead” by bringing in more of the world’s “best and brightest” high tech STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) professionals and “ Stapling Green Cards onto the diplomas of foreign students!”

Incredibly, when caught up in the moment, the crowds almost always become fired up and become emotional applauding the politician.  This is as sensible as Colonel Sanders telling a barnyard of chickens that he has found a new recipe for fried chicken.  Of course chickens have tiny brains and cannot understand what anyone, including Colonel Sanders might tell them.  What possible excuse do Americans have?

We need to look for the inconsistencies that are the hallmarks of the swindler.  Think about the politicians who are quick to talk about “American Exceptionalism.”  If they really believe in that concept then there is no need to import the “World’s Best and Brightest” because they are already here! They are Americans!!

On June 16, 2015 Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS) posted my article:

Immigration System Must Work for Best Interests of Americans

In my article for CAPS I included a link to a video of Congressman Lou Barletta “grilling” Jeh Johnson the Secretary of Homeland Security about why it is that when the conversation turns to immigration the administration always focuses on the needs of the illegal aliens and never about how Americans are being impacted and Lou tells Johnson that this is not fair.  Johnson’s response was astounding- I urge you to check out the video for which I included the link in that article.

The politicians and the other exploiters are willing to throw caution and, indeed, national security to the wind, to increase their profits even as they rob America and Americans blind!

Meanwhile they are counting on the blind patriotism of the great majority of our fellow Americans.  Of course we want America to lead, but then we must ask the question, “What is America.”

On June 11, 2015 FrontPage Magazine posted my article, Immigration Reform: Behind the Bumper Sticker Slogans »What it really means to “secure the border first”?
I concluded that article with the following excerpt:

On March 24, 2015 Progressives For Immigration Reform (PFIR) posted my article, For All Too Many Americans “the American Dream” Is Now the “Impossible Dream.”

In the moment of euphoria carefully crafted by politicians who talk about America leading, what is being ignored is that increasingly American families are living below the poverty line often through no fault of their own. Why on earth are the citizens of our nation accepting the insults spewed by politicians who claim that Americans are too lazy to do the physically demanding jobs and too stupid to do the high tech jobs? How can America lead when the majority of Americans are getting hammered?

What is America? I would submit that more than mountains, forests, cities, rivers and lakes, that America is comprised of its citizens of every race, religion and ethnicity.

The late crooner Frank Sinatra had a far more eloquent way of making this point in his rendition of the beautiful song, “The House I Live In,” which begins with the question, “What is America to me?” and ends with the words, “especially the people, that’s America to me.”

The title of my January 23, 2015 article for Californians for Population Stabilization sums up the reality being ignored by all too many politicians who were ostensibly elected to represent the best interests of America and Americans, For America to Do Well, Americans Must Do Well.”

The ‘Secure Our Border First Act’ Deception »

On June 13, 2013 I was interviewed by Neil Cavuto at Fox News on the topic:

The interview ran about 4 minutes and is worth watching.

On April 4, 2014, CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary that asks the questions all Americans need to ask their political “representatives.”  My commentary is aptly titled:  “How? Why?

In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:

We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”

Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.

The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation.  That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today!  Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.  In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within.  The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!
