I urge you to get involved and demand our elected representatives actually represent us- We the People! The information contained in my article is being provided to educate as many of our fellow Americans as possible so that they can ask the right questions and make the appropriate demands on our political leaders and representatives. Politicians who would be our next president are beginning to rev up their campaigns and they need to be made accountable when they conduct those town hall meetings!
The article for which I am providing the link below should motivate everyone who reads it to call his/her senators and representatives to demand answers to know what congress is going to do to protect America and Americans. Ignoring the grim lessons of 9/11.
The title of my article is self-explanatory. The disconcerting conclusion that House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Representative Devin Nunes arrived at is based on an abundance of information not generally available to the general public. His concerns parallel my own concerns and beliefs. We did not get to this precipice overnight- this is the direct result of the ongoing failures of the government of the United States to take commonsense measures. Among the most obvious of those failures are the failures of the administration to prevent the entry of aliens who are affiliated with terrorist organizations and the way that the federal government has failed to restore integrity to the process by which applications for immigration benefits are adjudicated. These are the issues my article focuses on.
The questions that we must demand answers to are quite simple- “Now that yet another leader in the Congress- no less an authority than the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has sounded the warning, what specifically will our government do to prevent another horrific terror attack- and how soon will this be accomplished?” Every member of both the House of Representatives and the United States must be asked those questions every single day by as many Americans as possible!
This is the work every American must do- American lives hang in the balance!
I am compelled to remind you that it took the United States just 44 months to build fleets of brand new aircraft- fighter planes, bombers, etc., fleets of brand new ocean going vessels- including battle ships, submarines, aircraft carriers, PT boats, etc. and even nuclear weapons. All in under four years- to defeat the Nazis and win World War II. It is nearly 14 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001 and more than 22 years since terrorists from the Middle East carried out deadly terror attacks at the CIA and the World Trade Center. Yet periodically our leaders issue statements about how much greater the threats of terror attack have increased! If this is how we are winning the “War on Terror” what would losing the war on terror look like?
We are clearly going the wrong way on a one-way street!

So-called “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” add to the undermining of national security and public safety. On September 24, 2014 Frontpage magazine published my article:
On December 1, 2013 the Huffington Post ran a worrying report:
“America Is ‘Less Safe’ Than 2 Years Ago, Intelligence Committee Chairs Say”
The report focused on statements made by Senator Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the Senate’s Intelligence Committee, when she was interviewed for CNN’s program, “State of the Union.”
Here is how the report began:
Interviewed on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said she believed that there are now more terrorists with the technological means to carry out a bombing in the U.S.
Here is an additional important excerpt from the Huffington Post article:
“I think terror is up worldwide,” said Feinstein, who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee. “There are new bombs, very big bombs, trucks being reinforced for those bombs. There are bombs that go through magnetometers. The bomb-maker is still alive. There are more groups than ever. And there is huge malevolence out there.”
Feinstein added that there was “a real displaced aggression in this very fundamentalist jihadist Islamic community, and that is that the West is responsible for everything that goes wrong and that the only thing that’s going to solve this is Islamic Sharia law.”
The U.S. is in greater danger of a terrorist attack than it was prior to September 11 and has less ability to prevent such aggression by Islamist radicals, key congressional intelligence leaders said Sunday.
Our borders and our immigration laws are our nation’s first line of defense and last line of defense against those aliens whose presence would undermine national security and public safety. Those laws were originally enacted to shield American workers from unfair foreign competition.
America’s middle class grew under the protection of the American workforce. As the enforcement of those immigration laws becomes an ever more distant memory, America’s middle class and the dreams of the American Dream are similarly becoming an ever more distant memory!

CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my commentary that asks the questions all Americans need to ask their political “representatives.” My commentary is aptly titled:
“How? Why?”
In his historic speech before the 3rd Army on May 31, 1944, General George S. Patton said, on the strategy of holding a position:
“We’re not holding anything, we’ll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly, and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy.”
Pushing back against Comprehensive Immigration Reform is the same as holding position. The time has come for us to advance by demanding that our borders be made truly secure and our immigration laws be effectively administered and enforced.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform violates all of the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission but no one is willing to even consider how the lack of real border security and the lack of real integrity to the various components of the immigration system imperil national security and public safety.
The findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission must be the starting point for any discussion about immigration legislation. That commission determined that a lack of border security, including the visa process. and fraud in the immigration benefits program, enabled terrorists to enter and embed themselves in the United States, as they went about their deadly preparations.
Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers. In point of fact, our borders and our immigration laws are America’s first line of defense and last line of defense against international terrorists and transnational criminals.
It is not “Anti-Immigrant” to be “Pro-American!”
Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!
If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!
All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!
We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.
This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!
You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
